Hello, I understand this might be a small issue, but I’m trying to get my OCD over the bridge. Here’s what I have: a Maximus X Hero Wi-Fi MB 8086k Intel Pro 16 GB GSkill TridendZ (extra 16GB not installed yet), H115i Pro AIO with the latest iCUE and Aura Sync updated. The problem is that Aura Sync is using both RAM sticks simultaneously in comet, flash, and dash modes at the same time—not one after another. I want them to work in sequence, like lighting one stick first, then the next, so each stick lights up one by one. When all four are installed, I’d like the order to be 1 → 2 → 3 → 4 without doing both at once. I’ve seen many videos showing different setups, but I can’t get it to work as I want. I just updated the BIOS and drivers are current, even tried an older Aura Sync version without iCUE and got nothing. Can someone help me fix this? Thanks!

I verified it too—it works the same. I opt for static lighting since I prefer avoiding the extra CPU load from dynamic options.

Thanks for your feedback. This video demonstrates the RAM stick lights changing in a specific order. It's an older recording and might not follow current guidelines. Another version of the aura sync could work with it, though. Someone else mentioned two years ago about a similar issue, but their setup didn't handle all lights at once. The static mode is used to prevent overheating from dynamic lighting effects.

I've faced several problems with Aura Sync—missing devices, startup issues, and frequent updates. It's not the worst experience compared to other services like MSi's Mystic Light, but it's still far from ideal. It slightly affects CPU performance, which is important for gaming and overall performance. I prefer it over noisy lighting solutions.

Honestly, I didn’t even use the aura sync at first—I just kept my AIO LED set to temperature. But once I added two more RAM sticks, I decided to give it a shot, especially after seeing some cool modes with all four sticks in order. Now it’s not working for me, and my OCD is getting in the way. I really want to fix this, even if it means installing an old version of aura.

Check this out on the site, it increases CPU usage slightly but lets you manage the LEDs separately.

Thank you for your message. It seems the options in the master LED section are not available. Would you like me to explore other alternatives?

Ensure an RGB application is running (such as Aura or I-Cue), then it will replicate that color onto whatever you specify.

Yup, tried that and still nothing in the master LED section and if I close and reopen that software some of the devices on the list disappear until I will not have anything to pick anymore. Is some manbo jumbo stuff I have to do somewhere for the software to req something at master LED? Thank you a lot for your answers, maybe I will get this software to work somehow. Maybe someone that used the aura for a longer time knows if this feature is on some older version or it's something wrong at my side?

I updated the RAM and noticed some issues: 1. The sequence is incorrect—on rainbow mode it displays 1 3 4 2 instead of 1 2 3 4. It looks normal during playback but resets to 1 3 4 2 after restarting. 2. One stick has a LED behaving oddly, cycling through colors longer than expected. It might be a faulty stick; I’ve heard about SPD write procedures. Video_2020-09-13_at_14_14_12.mp4
