It’s only been a year, yet 8GB is now considered quite basic. Doing multiple tasks at once makes it feel powerful. For years, people have advised choosing at least 16GB.

Maybe skip the edge? I'm using Chrome and my storage stays under 6GB most of the time... But I understand others' views, 8GB seems quite low, you might want to go up to 16GB.
