Good morning, I own an Asus G15DK prebuilt system with a damaged Asus Prime B550M-K motherboard. What caused this issue? The model name is "G15DK," but the label clearly states it's an Asus Prime B550M-K. The main differences between these versions are missing headers, such as an extra CPU fan connector (though pads remain intact). A major problem is that the G15DK version on ASUS's website uses outdated BIOS, whereas the Prime series has the latest one. The old BIOS predates the fix for the Win 11 stuttering issue with TPM. Can anyone suggest a method to manually update the G15DK BIOS using Prime series BIOS? Have others tried this before? I purchased this entire build without a GPU for a very low cost (bought it back years ago to get an RTX 3070 without LHR), and everything worked fine. I added fans, swapped the CPU cooler, and it performed well—cheaper than buying parts separately. Temperatures stayed reasonable (~65°C GPU, 72°C CPU) even during gaming. The stock CPU reached 87°C when running Prime 95 and the case was closed. I'm satisfied now, but I'd like to run Windows 11 with all features enabled.

You could try flashing using a BIOS flashing device (like an EEPROM Flash BIOS USB Programmer) that is cheap on Aliexpress/eBay/Amazon. There is a high chance of failure and you could end up bricking the board. I would not recommend.
