It seems unlikely it will affect anything. Yet, according to what I know, CRS305 might support an upgrade, but it’s probably not straightforward. I haven’t handled Mikrotik setups before.

SFP+ devices operate over limited distances since they can't deliver the full power of 10G-BASE-T. Therefore, it might be better to opt for CAT6a, which would add its own range limitation on top of the existing short-distance constraints of the transceiver and cable.
