They released those models to offer more options for builders, giving choices between different configurations like the 270 and 270x. Your setup with 1130 cores and 1500 memory still works fine, so there’s no need to switch unless you want extra performance or features.

It's really impressive, though I'm not convinced it's that surprising. Most folks have to push 1.4v just for a 4.2ghz boost! My CPU hits around 45DC max on Hyper-212 Evo. 4.7ghz? That's insane! Game runs smoothly on FX 6300 and about 70% of a 970, but performance really depends on your settings. It should be better than consoles with a 270

Pushing past 4.7 requires a significant amount of power. A more advanced board would help reach that level.
