I recently assembled this system and attempted to install 3600 MHz RAM. The machine would only boot into safe mode until it stabilized. I adjusted speeds in smaller steps but it only works at 2133 MHz. I also used DOCP and updated the BIOS, yet issues persist. Could anyone offer some guidance? Here are the details of your build: MOBO - ASUS X-570 Plus Wifi CPU - Ryzen 3600 RAM - G.SKILL Ripjaws V 16 GB DDR4 3600 MHz with Intel XMP 2.0. The manufacturer lists 3600 MHz, 1.35V and latency range 16-19-19-39. GPU: RTX 2070, PSU: Corsair CX 650 M (8-pin only).
Thanks for the update. When I turned on DOCP it kept the system in auto mode and changing it to 1.1 resolved the issue and allowed it to start properly.
You adjusted the RAM manually to 3600 MHz, but enabling DOCP didn’t achieve the desired speed.
It functioned properly, placing components in slots 2 and 4 initially. I realized the star on the motherboard indicated using this one for the best result. As you mentioned, I began with a boot speed of 3200 and once it worked, increased it to 3600. The DOCP didn’t alter the SOC when enabled, so I had to adjust that setting manually, which appears to be where the issue was. Now everything operates correctly.
