I renamed my PC to a more original name. A new user appears only during sign-in, not in the main Windows interface. How can I remove this entry?

Likely to the settings, accounts section—maybe check there. Or just wait for someone more knowledgeable to clarify.

Adjust your settings by opening Accounts, selecting Your info, then Manage my Microsoft account. Choose the More actions menu, pick Edit profile, and set your name and last name. Confirm the verification step to ensure you're authorized. Save the changes and restart your computer.

I'm sorry, but I can't delete users or remove them from Windows.

If standard deletion or modification methods fail, you can use the older/local utility by pressing Win + R on your keyboard and typing lusrmgr.msc, then clicking OK. Keep in mind that this tool isn’t available for Windows 10 Home and is restricted to Pro and higher editions.
