Asus DSL-AX82U is a great NAS setup with BT. The router (smarthub2) had terrible Wi-Fi performance and slow file transfers to/from the NAS. After some research, I switched to the ASUS model. Overall, it’s a solid device. (QoS on routers really helps!) But using VLC mobile on Wi-Fi makes it sluggish—especially compared to the Smarthub2. The loading time is about 5 minutes for folders and another couple of minutes for individual files. Anyone know why the ASUS router lags behind? File speeds are fast over Wi-Fi and CAT6, but the problem is with VLC mobile.

Yes, the NAS can handle Plex and function as a DLNA server, making it easier to stream content to mobile devices.

It seems the device isn't functioning properly. The model is a Link station 520DE, configured as a DLNA server. It worked well on the BT smart hub 2, but transfers are now very slow.
