I've checked all the troubleshooting steps. My microphone activates when I switch to voice settings, but my friend still can't hear me. He picks up my webcam mic clearly, yet that's not working. I reinstalled the driver and can now hear audio through the headset everywhere, including Discord. Someone should help me.

I might turn off the webcam microphone in Windows to prevent Discord from attempting to use it, then check if the problem resolves.

You're probably wondering if you have a proper audio setup. It seems like your microphone isn't working and the Windows speech settings aren't picking up anything either.

Capture an image of the headphone jack. It's the part you connect somewhere.

I've ended the thread. The issue was my microphone had a separate mute function that was always on. It's working now! Appreciate your assistance.
