Used Samsung Galaxy A3 with brick issues
You need to reset your A3. Try holding the power button for about 10 seconds until it turns off, then press and hold the volume up button until the screen lights up. After that, release both buttons and see if it powers on. If not, you may need to factory reset or contact Samsung support.
sry man so i wanted to root my a3 with lollipop http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/...p-t3144889 followed this guide but after the third step when i powered of my phone I kept it plugged into the pc so after it powered off it rebooted and turned to this screen and is stuck now
I've never permanently disabled a phone except by destroying it. At work I don't recall ever going that far. I ran a test on an original Galaxy Note, turned it off, connected it, and restarted. Windows identified it after the password prompt. The screen displayed "Samsung" but not the animated logo—it appeared later. It recognized it in File Explorer only after I entered the P/W. My note is running Android 4.1.2 on a Windows 10 Home build 10586.14.
Hey, I've successfully reached download mode. Let's reset everything properly. What steps should I take with my phone now? Which files need flashing? Thanks!
