used a power cable for the PSU that wasn’t securely connected.
During the initial startup, the PSU power cable was loosely connected, triggering a red CPU indicator and preventing display. After several restarts, turning the PC off and flipping the PSU switch twice resolved the issue temporarily, allowing me to boot into BIOS and install Windows via USB. Once installed, I reinstalled drivers and software before shutting down. When I attempted to power on again, the red light persisted without a display. After securing the PSU cable firmly and flipping the switch twice, the problem disappeared, and I successfully launched Windows. Could this repeated loose connection have caused any damage? Reinstalling Windows seems reasonable despite the current slow boot time of about 19 seconds, which might relate to fast boot being disabled. My motherboard is an ASRock X870 Steel Legend, the PSU is Seasonic Focus GX750.
