I recently discovered that I've been using WASD differently than my friends, and I'd like to see how many people use it or what their thoughts are about it. My hand positions are: pinky on shift and control, ring finger on tab, middle finger on a and q, index finger on w, e and s, thumb on d, z, x, c, v, b, r, f, g, and space. [EDIT] I forgot about D.

Left hand has the ring finger on A, middle on W, index on D and thumb in the empty space. I rarely use the S key and my pinky only notices it when I'm watching a scoreboard. The right hand is focused on my mouse.

No problem, just let me know how you'd like it rephrased!

I follow the same method as everyone else does in Ring: A/Tab Middle. The settings look like this: D for Thumb, Pinky on Space.

For me, it's mostly using my thumb in space and my pinky during shifts.

That’s a really bad way to type, and it might hurt your wrist in a funny way.
