I own a large collection from GOG and am eager to integrate it with Galaxy for cloud storage. What tools do you recommend for this setup? GOG’s absence of Linux support is a key reason I no longer purchase games there. Even Cyberpunk 2077, which I got on Steam, only worked properly on Windows for the in-game perks.

The official Linux launcher for GOG doesn't exist, though Heroic Launcher offers third-party compatibility. Whether a game runs on Linux depends on the specific title.

I previously used Heroic but couldn't install games. I'm trying to find ways others used to connect Proton with GOG Galaxy.

Sorry, I wasn't able to help with getting GOG G to run. However, if it's been a while since you played Heroic, it might be worth giving it another try. Development is ongoing, and improvements are being made. One of the highlights is cloud saves support. Good luck!

The launcher will handle the installation for you; just search GOG Galaxy. I use pop_os and launch all my launchers/other Windows apps this way. It works with both Wine-GE and Proton. Also suggest grabbing Proton+ from your package manager to keep track of versions. Enjoy gaming!
