Usually companies such as HP don’t provide these options in the BIOS, let alone keep them concealed. This is especially true for laptops. Have you come across any mention of these settings being hidden?

I think you've already checked the HP resources; they mention that the Advanced BIOS setting isn't offered on consumer machines but only on business models.
