Hello everyone, I'm searching for a network solution to identify issues with my broadband connection. My setup includes fibre optic broadband offering 100Mbps speed, connected via an Optilink modem to a TP Link N series router. I access the internet through two smart TVs and about five smartphones. The issue is frequent speed drops, timeouts, and internet performance that plummets to unsatisfactory levels, making activities like watching YouTube in SD impossible. The problem isn't constant; sometimes it works perfectly and other times it fails entirely. A bigger concern is my ISP's refusal to accept any issues. When I contact them about complaints, they check their end and claim everything is fine, dismissing my speed test results unless I connect my laptop to their modem. I suspect a server-side problem since many users face the same challenge, but the ISP remains unresponsive and unwilling to acknowledge it due to lack of evidence. I don't have any alternative ISPs nearby.
When my router was having issues, using the laptop with the modem removed solved it. If it functions directly connected, the router must be the source of the problem.
