I’m preparing a demonstration for children about WiFi risks. My goal is to show how unsafe it can be by using a local router that mimics our building’s network. I have a Java program that acts like a small HTTP server, listening on a specific port. If I run this app on my computer connected to the router, and the router isn’t linked to the internet, it shouldn’t receive external traffic. The absence of DNS means no real responses would come through. My intention is to highlight the dangers by simulating a vulnerable setup without real connectivity.

Additionally, for DNS purposes, older Android devices often include an app to handle this functionality.
