Hi everyone, for 60FPS video in Sony Vegas Pro (12), focus on balancing quality and performance. Check the recommended render settings for high frame rates and ensure you're using your hardware efficiently. Let me know if you need more details! Happy Christmas!

For 720p60, render between 4000kbps–6500kbps in MP4. For 1080p60, render between 7000kbps–11000kbps in MP4. Upload to YouTube?

Vegas pro and movie studio platinum perform exceptionally well on NVIDIA hardware, especially for models newer than a GTX 580 (excluding Titan). Render using your CPU.

I'm not sure if you're uploading to YouTube, but if so, those are the relevant settings. Regarding Sony AVC/MVC or MainConcept AVC/AAC options, I also want to know about CUDA support. Intel Quick Sync seems to work perfectly for me, but I’m puzzled about running my discrete setup with iGUP properly. Whenever I need to switch to IGUP, I have to manually disconnect the DVI from the back and connect it to the motherboard...

Check if this option offers benefits compared to the Sony version. Also, see if it renders more quickly than the other. Thanks.

I haven't tried the Sony version directly. It seems to be a tailored video format.

I tested both options in an experiment and noticed the Sony version ran more smoothly. Still unsure if this means a trade-off in performance or quality.
