I've set up a free Minecraft server for my son and his friends. There are five players, but one switched from survival mode to creative mode and accused me of cheating. They don't like it, but they don’t want me to ban him. As the sole admin, I can only modify settings during gameplay, which is frustrating. This feels unfair. Can I find a way to prevent anyone from changing these rules when they join? Regards.

He seems to be exploiting a cheat client or taking advantage of a known multiplayer glitch for this game version. Without knowing the exact server version or modern exploit details, I recommend searching online for phrases like "get OP on any server in version X.X" to find possible methods. Once you understand the approach, you can try looking for available patches.
