I also wish to access Windows 8 without using a Microsoft account since I’m tired of entering the username and password repeatedly. Switching to a local account helped, but after a few days I lost my local login credentials. Fortunately, SmartKey Windows Password Recovery came to the rescue, allowing me to remove the password and now log in to Windows 8 without any further input. You can look it up online if you need more details.
