Ryzen master offers flexibility by letting you adjust EDC during runtime. Observe the changes when the load hits 99%—raising it can help the CPU perform slightly better. I'm testing it at stock speed. Clock speeds vary from roughly 4GHz to 4.6GHz based on core load. Game clocks like Battlefield 5 perform around 4.2GHz, for example. In Cinebench with multiple cores, it typically hits about 4 GHz across all cores.

Your stock voltage is 1.46 V, and we're using the same board. It's a bit close now, so I'm holding back on flashing the latest BIOS since I don't want to risk damaging my RAM (it's not listed in QVL). I understand safe boot is fine, but there are still concerns. What voltage does the board provide?

So HWinfo records a max stock voltage reading of 1.5 volts, which is expected during light workloads. If I'm running Cinebench R23, the voltage drops to around 1.244 to 1.275 and it fluctuates between these values throughout the run. AMD themselves have confirmed that voltages of up to 1.5 are completely safe and by design, so I really wouldn't worry about it. I understand the discussion but I strongly disagree with AMD.Electronics. My interest in this topic comes from my passion for electronics, and I believe a voltage of 1.4 V is quite excessive for a microprocessor. I personally avoided letting my CPU exceed around 1.45 V because it felt too risky, so I chose to undervolt it.

AMD builds the chips and ensures they function according to their specified limits. That’s their responsibility. While having hobbies is enjoyable, I wouldn’t claim to understand more than those who created the chips about voltage and tolerance. In my view, as long as you stay within standard settings, there’s nothing to worry about.

Apple created the iPhone 12, yet repairs aren't possible—so you'd have to purchase a new device. You maintain it at a specific voltage while mine operates at 1.25 V, and in three years you'll see the difference. Do you recall any chips operating above around 1.35 V? That would be unusual for a 12-core CPU, though I'm not fully confident in anyone's claims except myself. I prefer keeping things personal, as that's how I see it. My perspective is that the standard voltage is too high, and that's my take.
