Case: O11 Dynamic Evo reversed GPU setup: I installed the card with all the holes, but the mounting part that should hold it didn’t stay fixed. The manual suggests securing it at the top, but it only fits when I push it up as far as possible, ending up with the screw at the bottom of the line. Do you need advice on a different approach for a reversed build?
It appears the installation isn’t quite right. This isn’t the type of bracket I’d install, especially with this card involved—it doesn’t look sturdy enough. The arm seems flipped upside down and is meant to attach to a cross brace, as shown in the photo. I’d need to recheck the instructions since they seem straightforward.
Is the picture flipped? I’d switch it over since the tubes seem at the bottom. Plus, the bracket seems correctly placed—it fits into the motherboard mounts.
You’re confirming the steps were followed correctly. The process should have functioned properly if the case was standard.
The 1070 model works without a support bracket by default, and matching parts aren’t assured. Why bother with the bracket then?
I’m planning to upgrade my GPU three years ahead, thinking about it now. Also, it looks better in my opinion.
The 1050Ti requires a bracket, while the 1070 definitely does. In the last photo, the black cable outside the case is actually hidden inside the case.
