Hello, this has been going on for about six to seven months now. It affects all systems—phone, PC, console—and appears in YouTube videos as well as during real gaming sessions. It’s strange because these videos are recorded by others, yet the effect shows up consistently. I’m wondering if it’s related to an electrical problem or something similar. Initially, it started with mouse lag issues since 2019 to early 2023, but now I’ve noticed this separately and stopped focusing on the mouse delay. I hope others can relate, as it seems rare but possible. For those two videos where I’m not gaming, could you compare them to your screen? Just so I know if it’s just me or something else. My specs are: GPU—RX 6800 XT Nitro+, CPU—i5 13600K, RAM—32GB, Motherboard—Z790 AORUS Elite, SSD—Samsung 870 EVO. I’d appreciate any advice, but I don’t want to assume it’s just electricity. I’ve tried other solutions and fixed the mouse lag, but those pop-up issues still occur.
Missed a setting, I'm using Ultra and the graphics are still poor. It's worse than in other games where 4K looks fine—even with lod enabled.
The beam video shows a lot of changes in resolution, which is typical because beam rendering doesn’t aim for constant high detail.
I can’t take screenshots or record video directly, but I can guide you on how to capture the issue yourself. You could use a screen recording tool to film the problem instead of just taking a static image. This will help determine whether the issue is with your monitor or your computer.
Hello, I've attempted to adjust everything, but the problem persists across all my monitors and devices. This affects all my hardware. Could you confirm if you notice the same issue? Right now, I don't have a second monitor since one has failed. My phone is also 1 year old and was brand new when it arrived.
In the third video, you're demonstrating games where trees appear and disappear. It seems unusual unless it's very small, as the phone camera might miss it on a screen. Are you referring to this as artifacting or something different? If it's the former, have you recently updated your graphics drivers or are you adjusting settings?
Hello once more, thank you for your message. It appears the issue only occurs during gaming rather than in those YouTube videos. The problem isn't always trees appearing or textures loading; sometimes it's a house just a few meters away, and every time it happens, it's not loading anything but just basic graphics. I changed all settings once to check if that would help, but it didn’t. Graphics quality is poor on ultra and 4K displays, with noticeable shimmering and artifacts across all games. I’ve updated and reinstalled GPU drivers, even switched to a different GPU to see if it resolves the problem. After experiencing this issue on my PC, I checked both my console and phone, confirming the problem also appeared on the phone during a game I hadn’t played before. In fact, my mother’s phone showed the same pop-ins, which suggests something is interfering with her device. I suspect the electricity might be causing interference or interacting with something unexpected. I’ll do my best to explain what’s happening. There are fewer pop-ins in YouTube videos overall, but they still occur—trees appearing, houses showing up, signs flickering, etc. I tried showing these same videos at my friend’s place and he didn’t notice the exact same issues. I’m not overclocking, so it’s hard to explain clearly.
This matter needs attention since others are experiencing similar issues. There are small groups on Discord and elsewhere suggesting the problem stems from poor electricity or outdated buildings. Possibly, the wiring is old—outlets from the 19th or early 20th century might not be safe anymore. It seems replacing outlets every eight years would help. I’m moving in soon and hope for a fix, though I might end up buying a new PC. Everything around me feels about five to nine months old, including the SSD and monitor.
I get what you mean from that, im not entirely sure of a fix for that though, just seems like either a game engine or settings thing, but im not sure why it would be happening to things very close and already loaded in The best way id describe it would be game assests appearing and disappearing in front of you when they shouldnt, hope you can find some sort of solution! Ill keep up with the thread and see if i can add anything else or take anything from what other people also say Also possibly the game culling objects where its not meant to, im not too sure Last thing @Andy that has problems , what PSU do you have and how old is it?
