Use My Modo to enhance your CPU performance through optimized settings and configurations.
Hello, I'm setting up a strict budget PC with a total of 45000 INR. It includes a mic, monitor, and webcam. I chose the ASUS PRIME H310M-E R.2 as my motherboard. For the CPU, I wanted the Ryzen 1600AF but it wasn't available locally in India. The 9100F was only around 90 dollars. My plan is to do a simple BIOS update via ASUS's website, but I'm wondering if there are other options. Updating the BIOS would require a spare CPU that supports the motherboard without needing the update. Here’s my PC parts list: https://in.pcpartpicker.com/list/f38Dtp
Certain makers offer to provide a CPU for BIOS upgrades; you should confirm with ASUS.
I’m purchasing from a nearby dealer instead of directly from ASUS. I’ll ask them about any spare CPUs they might have.
One of the stickers on the motherboard, and possibly the packaging, will display a four-digit code. If it reads 0418 or above, the system will support the 9100F out of the box. Verify that the displayed number matches the one listed here: https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Motherboards/...Desk_BIOS/
I didn't grasp what WDIM means. Could you clarify or provide more details?
