I aimed to have Core Temp start automatically so I could view temperatures without restarting the system. Using this tutorial helped me enable it at launch without needing permission each time, though it opened as a window instead of minimizing itself. I experimented with Task Scheduler to create a shortcut that would open minimized, but it didn’t work because scheduling shortcuts isn’t allowed. Someone might know how to set Core Temp to run in a minimized state at startup.

Navigate to core temperature settings, select Options, enable Settings, go to the General section, and verify Start Core Temp via Windows, applying changes.

No, you don’t necessarily have to check that box. It depends on your setup and requirements.
