Hello, after moving from Windows 10 to Windows 7, you're noticing performance issues that feel similar to what you had on Windows 7 but with more bloat. You're experiencing slowness during file copying and other tasks. To improve speed, consider optimizing your system—uninstall unnecessary programs, run a clean install of Windows, or use lightweight alternatives for heavy tasks.

You can disable the unnecessary features anytime. It won’t become too heavy if your PC runs smoothly. Windows 7 is quite outdated; I only used it when RAM was extremely limited, such as around 512MB on a Core 2 Duo.

Copying data between partitions on the same drive can be slow, even with powerful computers. Running a defrag might provide some improvement.

What are your specifications? That 'slowness' you mentioned might simply stem from insufficient power.

Are you sure there are no obvious problems with the storage, such as benchmarks showing atypical performance or SMART data indicating issues?
