I aim to connect my PS4 slim audio to a DAC using optical audio via an extractor. Currently, the setup involves linking the PS4 to a monitor and then the optical cable into the DAC. However, the audio intermittently stops for about ten seconds and restarts. I've tested multiple HDMI cables, switched extractors, and even connected the extractor to a laptop, but the issue persists. I'm unsure what's causing the disruption and need guidance. Appreciate any advice!
