I was actually considering that sooner. Usually there isn't a lot of data, though I'm not entirely sure. We do have USB cell modems here, and it seems they likely have unlimited data, even if I'm not certain. I haven't seen any information about data overages before.

It would be a straightforward, headless setup if you could utilize it to extract what you needed from the systems. Connecting via USB or Ethernet to the end device would allow data retrieval. Naturally, as with any headless unit, performance might not always be perfect—perhaps a tablet with a VPN client could work if it supports the right connections. You could likely insert a USB modem SIM into a tablet. The OpenVPN virtual appliance is easy to configure and offers two simultaneous connections for free. I use it to connect to my home network while away, though you’d need to verify with the ELA about commercial usage permissions.

What’s your current setup? Are you relying on Tosibox or another secure network service?

I successfully set up OpenVPN on an AWS instance but haven’t utilized it much. Currently, for customers requiring remote access via VPN, we rely on Contemporary Control’s Remote VPN service.

It's better to avoid using devices like asav because they can cause issues.

Meraki also offers virtual options, but they tend to follow a standardized approach.
