YouTube’s playback options have shifted recently. Previously, we could download the whole video and watch it smoothly. Now we must download only a quarter, watch it briefly, then download another quarter, and repeat. This is frustrating for users with high-speed connections who prefer preloading content. It becomes extremely difficult for slower connections since you can’t pause to load the full video in advance. An add-on called YouTube Center was meant to solve this problem, but it’s currently experiencing issues and they’re searching for a replacement. Sadly, it seems there are no more options available.
I'm currently testing this, and it appears to function effectively. Strongly suggest Magic Actions for YouTube. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...ceif?hl=en
