You might not need a physical receipt if you purchased the RAM online. It's possible you bought it in person and haven't kept a paper record. Replacing the stick should work fine.

Are you asking to swap an 8GB SSD with another 8GB SSD for a dual 8GB setup? Make sure both have identical latency, and any frequency differences can be handled. The IMC should sync all drives to the slowest one's speed.

Are you sure you want identical branding or skew? I noticed DDR3 can cause issues with mismatches.

This typically doesn't matter. Whether you're using Corsair or not, the main concern is the type of RAM—high-quality options like Zen 1 work better than lower-end models such as Hynix.
