So I accidentally touched screwdriver on my motherboard and it cut off and cut back on and now it’s not showing no signal all lights come on and all fans spin pls help.

Did you fully remove the power cord and let it sit for a while? If so, it might have gotten mixed up—otherwise, there are steps you can take.

Did you test the screwdriver while it was functioning? If you made contact during operation, it could have caused a short circuit and minor damage. It’s possible it burned slightly, though I’m not certain. You might want to verify whether it starts properly or if there are any issues.

Never disconnect the chassis while the system is active. You might be able to connect hard drives or PCIe cards during startup, but it’s not recommended.

A screwdriver accidentally touched the motherboard while it was operating, causing it to power down and then restart. The system is still running with fans spinning and lights active, though it’s losing signal to the monitor. I’m curious whether a replacement motherboard might be necessary.
