Do you have another USB drive? You could run it in a virtual machine if you just want to experiment with it. Or create a partition on your 1TB storage. Most people don’t want an OS on a USB stick because it’s slow, and 16GB isn’t enough space.

Okay so i have some questions related to this. If i setup a partition , will it leave my windows untouched (extra stress on that word) Also will i be able to get a legit experience from a speed and responsiveness stand point?(well this q seems counter intuitive considering i was trying to install it on a usb smh)

Keep Windows intact (just create a backup first). Try installing it on a virtual machine to understand how it works. Running it alongside another OS should yield similar results.

Yea backup the whole drive. Good idea anyways just in case the drive dies or something happens.
