Hi, I'm trying to fix my Asus F556UQ laptop with an Intel i5-7200u and nVidia 940MX. I want to get a separate graphics card that connects directly to the display, not the built-in one. Please help me understand how to do this. Thanks!

The GPU should activate itself whenever you use programs that require a lot of graphics processing. Based on the laptop’s internal connections, its output must pass through the ports linked to the integrated graphics unit. This setup shouldn’t affect its speed.

Occasionally during the game, everything is sent to the internal GPU and it freezes due to high RAM usage.
