He’s planning to purchase a 200 dollar server and connected him to PCPP. He intends to use it for running two Garry’s Mod servers. Are there Linux-friendly source codes or console applications available that I can run on my machine? I’ll be the system administrator and handle everything setup—this is just my uncertainty.

You might be able to run Windows 10 apps on Linux using WINE. It’s a workaround that lets your system treat Windows binaries as if they were native Linux programs. Try it and see how it works!

I thought you were looking for a tool compatible with Windows but Linux-friendly.

You're trying to access the server remotely using an SSH client. Their Linux server requires a client like PuTTY, which is widely used for connecting Windows clients to Linux via SSH at http://www.putty.org

It works by transmitting command and control instructions straight from your main computer to the client device you're using.

If configured properly, yes. Picture TeamViewer but using the console version. SSH functions like a remote shell connection.
