You can format the SSD to remove all data before reinstalling your OS. This will erase everything on the drive, allowing you to start fresh.

You’ll see a window after installing Windows. Clear everything until you spot "unallocated space," then press next. That’s the final step.

You want to prepare your setup by formatting a drive. If you don’t have time, you can create a bootable disk and install Windows from there. Just remember, during installation you’re usually prompted to format—so the initial step might not be needed.

Use the Windows Media Creation Tool via USB. Throughout the setup, you’ll find the chance to format the disk, erasing all data before installing the OS.

When you just press NEXT, Windows typically formats the partition automatically. Creating a new partition and formatting it beforehand is usually handled by the system, but NEXT alone may not trigger the formatting unless you initiate it.

It generates all required partitions on its own, you won’t need to make or adjust anything. "Unallocated space" refers to the initial area on a brand new drive.
