Hi everyone, I recently set up my first gaming PC on a budget. It runs an Asrock B450M Steel Legend MOBO with a Ryzen 3300X CPU. I’m trying to connect via USB C on the motherboard, but whenever something is plugged in, Windows just shows “this USB device is not working properly.” All other ports work perfectly, both on the board and inside the case. Could you offer some guidance? I’ve checked the BIOS settings and done some online research, but I’m still unsure what to do next. If you need more details, feel free to ask!

You're right about the drivers being current, but your nerves are holding you back from updating. There’s a straightforward method to confirm everything is in order. The BIOS update can be verified through a simple software check—just run the built-in utility or use a trusted system tool to ensure all components are synchronized and functioning properly. It’s better to double-check now rather than risk issues later.

I performed a bios update with some nervousness. Everything turned out fine, and the USB C port is now functional! Huzzah!
