Hi all,
I own a portable monitor, the WIMAXIT 11.6 Inch Portable HDMI Monitor. It uses a micro USB that connects to a standard USB DC adapter. The cable linking the monitor and the adapter is only three feet long, which isn't enough. Would a longer micro USB to a regular USB cord work? I'm unsure if USB charging cables are rated for different currents or voltages. Power cables aren't my area of expertise, but I'm not sure either!

It seems to be a USB-C device, indeed. They offer a 6-foot size option.
