Use Rufus to write the ISO file onto the USB drive if it fails. Otherwise, it's probably because the USB stick is being tested on many different ports and controllers. Some inexpensive models don't work well with USB 3 devices.

You don’t need an ISO file if you have the disc. Just insert it into your computer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

not a physical disc, I received it from an online Microsoft academy during school, the ISO file is no longer available
