Hey everyone, I’m facing some problems with my USB devices connecting and disconnecting unexpectedly on my motherboard. It happens without any reason, regardless of whether they’re 2.0 or 3.0 ports. My system acts like it’s waiting a second before reconnecting, which is super frustrating during gameplay. I’ve tried updating the BIOS and drivers, but that didn’t help. I’m not very familiar with the Event Viewer to check for errors, so I’m not sure what else to do besides reinstalling Windows. I have a few peripherals plugged in—wireless mouse, keyboard, headset, webcam, mic, and a streamdeck—and none of them seem to be causing the issue. Could you offer some guidance? Thanks!

A good starting point for troubleshooting would be to turn off all devices except the mouse and keyboard. If the issue disappears, you’ll know the keyboard or mouse aren’t the cause. Next, I recommend testing one item at a time to identify which device triggers the reset beep. I encountered the same problem with my PC; by eliminating possibilities step by step, I discovered the HP printer was the culprit. I had to uninstall everything related to HP to resolve the issue. HP often has issues spread across its products, so cleaning up files and folders can help. Using this method should make it easier to pinpoint the faulty USB device. Take care and good luck.
