Hello, I’m preparing a build with several components needing USB connections to the motherboard (STRIX X-570 E). I’ll share the PCPartpicker link, but it lists two commander models that only use one USB 2.0 because they can be connected in series, an H150i Pro (USB 2.0), and the case is a PC-011 dynamic. My main concern is whether I’ll run out of internal USB ports or if I’ll have the right ones for front I/O. With so many USB versions now, it’s hard to know which are compatible with older systems, so I’m mainly worried about having the correct connectors for the case’s front ports. Thanks ahead! Here’s my part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7LG4CL

Two command pros? That’s because the O11 dynamic setup doesn’t need front USB 2.0 ports. It needs the new USB-C connector, which is standard on any high-end recent motherboard, plus the USB 3.0 port that the X570 definitely has. Plus, the X570 isn’t really a good value—consider getting an X570-F with a 10GbE NIC or a X570 Taichi/Aorus Ultra instead.

For clarity, I’m utilizing two commander pros since the build includes nine Corsair LL120 units, and each commander pro can manage six. Appreciate the confirmation, and I’ll keep exploring various motherboards.

It's likely you can connect a lightning node pro to a commander pro using software controls.

Sorry, this only adjusts the RGB settings of the fans, not their speed. You'd need to link certain fans directly to the motherboard or use BIOS/Corsair ICUE controls, which would be quite complicated for you.

You can link a driven PWM fan hub to the Commander pro, and two Commander pros also function fine.
