Apart from the fact that you didn't locate drivers for devices that might not be essential (in the case of a standard SD card reader), there should be no issues.

It's just a regular card reader. I had to admit I didn't think they should be an issue, but you never know.

It's not worthwhile, the adapter will cost the same as a card reader.
