Every few to twenty minutes, all my USB devices pause briefly for about two seconds before reconnecting. The issue intensified significantly when I connected my capture card. During a zoom call, my entire PC would freeze. Connected devices included front panel IO mouse (usually on the dongle), motherboard IO capture card (not yet plugged in), and a USB-C connection via an add-in card for extended use. Ports used were port 1:6 for a 6-foot extension cable into a 4-USB-A dongle, port 2:6 for a 6-foot extension cable into a laptop-style USB dongle, and a wireless headphone, Xbox controller, and monitor pass-through port. My PC specs are Windows 10 Home ver 10.0.19044, with a 2GB RAM x570 gaming Ryzen 9 5900X, Radeon 6800X, and an Inateck Redcomets USB3.2 Gen2 card.

I would first verify that your BIOS and chipset drivers are current.

I refreshed my chipset drivers after noticing similar USB problems on Linus’s All AMD Challenge video, but no changes appeared. The BIOS update hasn’t been attempted before, so I’m avoiding extra BIOS tweaks.

Updated the bios. Experienced a brief boot loop, resolved it. Will adjust the topic upon recurrence or after a day if needed. Marked as solution.
