USB-A 3.0 to Ethernet adapter locked at slow USB 2 performance
I purchased a USB-A 3.0 to Ethernet adapter, plugged it into a USB 3 port, but only achieved around 300mbps. It appears the adapter negotiated a USB 2.0 connection (confirmed via USB Device Tree Viewer). However, using the "restart port" feature recognized it as USB 3. Others with Windows 11 experienced the same issue. I tested it on three more Windows 11 laptops, two Amazon and one ASUS models, all showing the same problem. When tested on Windows 10, the connection worked perfectly. It seems this issue is specific to Windows 11—what options do you have?
