The USB 3.0 ports aren't responding after your Windows 7 update. The BIOS has USB 3.0 enabled, and you've installed the driver from ASRock. Try restarting your PC or checking the USB ports manually in Device Manager to see if they appear.

For your FX-6300 CPU, the driver I mentioned was outdated and didn’t work well. You should use the latest official drivers from the manufacturer’s website for optimal performance.

Check both AMD and ASRock websites to ensure you're searching the right sources.

Check the newest AMD chipset drivers here: https://www2.ati.com/drivers/amd-chipset-drivers.exe
Do your own research—Google is safe, and avoid relying on unverified sources like AMD or ASRock sites.

I retrieved the files from the wikiforce link you shared: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/ch...ws+10+-+64 but they didn’t work. I installed the ASRock drivers two weeks ago, yet no USB 3.0 devices appear to be recognized. I’d expect an INF driver to exist for both ASRock and AMD sites, which is why I searched. I located the INF driver, but it doesn’t seem compatible with my motherboard (https://www.asrock.com/IPC/overview.pl.a...5-D#osW764) and my page shows no such driver (https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/970 Extreme3/index.pl.asp#Download).

If you keep all the files in their original compressed state, you can manually update the driver using Device Manager by directing it to that folder, which will find the needed files and install them correctly.

the sole uncompressed option is the ASRock model USB3_Eltron_Win7...v.0.104, unfortunately the Device Manager indicates it isn't the correct driver, while the AMD version is an executable, but it didn't resolve the issue.
