Hello, I saw that after assembling my PC, the USB 3.0 port on the front I/O stopped working. I tried to fix it today by unplugging it from the motherboard. It was tough to remove because I was pulling it out and noticed a black piece on the board beginning to detach. I halted and instead pushed back the cable. My concerns are: how should I properly remove it, should there be something in BIOS to check, and is there any fire risk if the piece starts pulling while I just push it back?

I thought the standard USB connections weren't functioning, not realizing the 3.0 ones were the issue.

Wow, that expression caught me off guard. The USB port wasn’t plugged in, was it? Sorry if that happened!
