He received a laptop with a multi-monitor setup and a dock that connects via USB-C. The dock also provides USB-C charging for the laptop, which causes a conflict when he uses it. Are there adapters that can handle both data transfer and charging simultaneously? He’s using a ThinkPad P53s.

Verify the dock lacks its own power connector. Some devices use the laptop's USB-C charger. If not, what display outputs are required? This adapter supports 100W but only provides one HDMI and one VGA output.

Different supplier or version from my previous projects. I’m familiar with a Lenovo dock designed for the ThinkPad that charges the device via USB C when connected.
