You didn’t hit a major CPU issue, right? Did you adjust any settings on the GPU?

Check your resolution and drivers. Consider enabling VSync or frame locking for smoother performance.

I reinstalled the drivers and didn’t make any changes at all. Right now I’m watching a video and tweaking the settings for optimal performance. Yes, there’s still about 20% GPU usage.

Installed drivers from NVIDIA site, turned off Gsync, and confirmed Vsync is disabled in the settings.

Based on the benchmarks I've seen, a 8700K and a 3060TI don't hit 165 FPS in Fortnite at 1080p, usually around 120. The GPU usage is about 75%.

I'm operating in performance mode, but not all epic options are available. It's strange—I ran the Unigine Heaven benchmark at 97% usage, but in actual games I can't achieve that. It might be normal not to require high GPU usage, though I'm not sure. Update: it seems okay to stay on the lower settings.
