System details provided: RAM 16GB DDR5 4800Mhz, CPU Intel i7-12650H, GPU RTX 4050, SSD 1TB WD Black SN770, external Micron 2400 512GB, OS Windows 11 24H2. BIOS is up to date. External SSD usage spikes to 100 during heavy tasks like chkdsk, games, or file transfers, and becomes unresponsive with zero speeds and response times in Task Manager. Resource Monitor showed pagefile.sys as the issue, but it isn't configured on this drive. No reports of hub problems since others didn’t mention them. The issue disappeared after a full formatting, though it now freezes briefly (about 30 seconds). Help needed? IMG_3599.HEIC

Updated: Changed my MSI Center Profile to Balanced rather than Ultimate Performance, and it resolved the issue (tested for more than an hour without any issues).
