Do you notice many applications launching when the system starts? Nearly every program you add activates at boot and stays visible in your system tray. Click right-click on the taskbar and open Task Manager. In the left corner, click More Details to view available tabs. Go to the Startup section and check how many programs are configured to run automatically.
