I have a GTX 1070 (Gaming) with an i5 8600K at 4.3GHz, and I sometimes experience freezes or stuttering. I've also created two videos—here are the links: https://mega.nz/#!Z1oyFYSa!gGUEQBs6lHb0B...E6lDahtzRQ and https://mega.nz/#!J4pmXS7T!cXWsEbs4VrOOG...s6vZHvitCY. Someone can help me?
I just watched both videos and everything seemed fine. There was no freezing and only slight stuttering. You're playing online, so frame rates will change a bit. It looks perfectly normal to me. If you haven't tried it yet, in COD WW2 you might want to enable Shader Preload in the graphics settings. It helped a lot when I had some stuttering; now it barely bothers me. The feature preloads shaders before you start and eliminates stuttering issues. It also makes loading levels slower, but I don’t notice longer load times and I’m not using an SSD.
I don't see a labeled chipset listed, perhaps you can check the manual or contact support for the ASRock Z370 Pro 4. They might not be in stock right now.
It seems like a typical Black Ops 3 concern you might face. When navigating maps online, moving between tight areas and expansive zones can impact your CPU load. I also spotted another potential issue—your RAM usage might be higher than expected. Additionally, Order Independent Transparency and Subsurface Scattering could be contributing to the stuttering. Try disabling both to test. It appears you likely don’t see faces clearly, so SS might not be necessary.
In Black Ops 3 I turned off order independent transparency and subsurface scattering, which eliminated stutter, while in WWII I enabled shader preload and still faced some stutter. The main issue seems to be the poor optimization of the game. Thanks for your assistance!
