I’m experiencing some problems with my desktop tower. I have a USB drive, a Logitech keyboard-mouse setup with one wireless receiver for both, and a USB WiFi adapter. The mouse and keyboard are showing noticeable lag, which isn’t happening on another machine. My WiFi adapter behaves strangely too—when I download Steam games it works but is very slow, and web downloads often fail after a short time. I can browse the web normally, but downloads frequently stop before completion. It seems related to internet speed; if I slow my download down, it stops failing. I’ve also faced similar issues with the AMD driver installer, which I eventually fixed.

Consider reinstalling the chipset driver manually through an elevated command, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator. The same approach can be applied to your wireless adapter's driver. Which wireless adapter are you using? What is the current BIOS version on your motherboard?
I’ve installed the chipset driver via Intel’s installer, and the wireless adapter claimed it would work out of the box without needing drivers. Additionally, using various wireless adapters has resulted in the same problem, suggesting it’s not a driver-related issue. The adapter I’m using is a PAU05, and my BIOS is the most recent version (F7).
